The Royal Victoria Hall Foundation awards between twenty and thirty grants each year to smaller scale professional theatre projects based in London. There are two rounds of funding, with deadlines in February and August.
Supports medical charities and research, old people, and those “who have fallen on evil days through no fault of their own”.
Grants of up to £2,000 for work with “disadvantaged people” in central London.
The Trust aims to strengthen family ties. It supports charities whose activities involve all or most family members in initiatives that support and encourage the family to work as a cohesive unit in tackling problems that face one or more of its members.
Grants of £500 to £10,000 for registered charities working with needy Westminster residents.
Small grants for local projects with children, homeless people, minority groups, disability, arts and offenders. For charities with an income of less than £300,000 a year. Apply by 26 March 2012.
Grants of up to £3,000 for charities with an income of less than £1million, for work to help homeless people return to mainstream society.
Grants of £5,000 to £10,000 for charities in London to undertake small-scale building work. Apply by March 2012.
Grants for work with people living in poverty, the elderly and infirm, homeless people and children with disabilities or at risk of deprivation.
Capital grants of up to £3,000 for work to improve the quality of life for local people, including elderly and disadvantaged people. Apply in April, May, July or August 2012.
Grants for work with children and young people who experience disadvantage. Application deadlines throughout the year.
Grants of £3,000 to £5,000 for work with offenders, young people, those with addiction problems and sex industry workers, including victims of trafficking. Apply in April or October each year.
Grants for the care and relief of people affected by learning disability. Apply for project costs and general running costs.
Small grants for organisations with an income of £500,000 or less, working in education, the relief of hardship and disability, heritage or the environment. Application deadlines in February, May and September each year.
Grants of up to £100,000 for work to challenge poverty and exclusion, and strengthen the voluntary and community sector.
Capital grants of up to £3,000 for work to improve the quality of life for local people, including elderly and disadvantaged people. Apply in April, May, July or August 2012.
Small grants for organisations with an income of less than £1million, working in mental health, learning disability, homelessness, and health in the community.
Grants of up to £2,000 for work with “disadvantaged people” in central London.
The Trustees look for clear, realistic and attainable aims of projects in their major categories of interest. Grants vary, but most lie between £5,000 and £10,000. Occasionally the Trustees make a recurring grant of up to three years.
