Grants of up to £50,000 for work that helps to reduce fuel poverty. Application deadlines throughout the year.

The Henry Smith Charity - Holiday Grants for children

Applications can be made for grants towards holidays or outings within the UK for children aged 13 and under who are from areas of high deprivation*, are experiencing disadvantage, or those who have a disability. Priority is given to work with groups experiencing social and/or economic disadvantage, for example, people with disabilities; and work that tackles problems in areas of high deprivation (ie those that fall within the bottom third of the National Indices of Deprivation).

Lloyds TSB Foundation - The Community Fund

Funding for core work that helps disadvantaged people play a fuller role in the community. Apply at any time.

Esmée Fairbairn Foundation

Grants for work in the arts; education and learning; the environment; and enabling disadvantaged people to participate fully in society. Apply any time.

WO Street Foundation Grant

Grants of around £5,000 for projects with young people, the elderly, disabled people, education or social welfare.  No application deadline.

Only Connect

OnlyConnect is a visit scheme sponsored by Triodos Bank  and administered by NCVO which enables you to visit another voluntary and community organisation to learn about their experiences.
