Grants for medium-sized charities working with older people and disadvantaged people.  Application deadlines throughout the year.

The Dowager Countess Eleanor Peel Trust makes grants for work with older people, those who are disadvantaged, and for medical research.  In 2011, the Trust made 53 grants.

Who can apply?

To apply, you need to have an income of more than £50,000 a year, but less than £2.5 million.  Where possible, the Trust prefers to make grants for work in the northwest of England.

What work can be funded?

  1. Projects working with older people, including carers
  2. Project for people in need, including disabled people, hospices, mental health, drug and addiction and homelessness.
