BBC Children in Need

Grants for work with children and young people who experience disadvantage. Application deadlines throughout the year.

Arts Council

Grants for the arts are for activities carried out over a set period and which engage people in England in arts activities, and help artists and arts organisations in England carry out their work.

Mrs Smith and Mount Trust

Small grants for organisations with an income of less than £1million, working in mental health, learning disability, homelessness, and health in the community. 

Master Poulter's Pelican Trust, The

Very small grants for work to relieve “poverty, sickness and distress” in London.  Apply at any time.

London Housing Foundation

Grants for work helping homeless people make changes in their lives, and to support organisational change in voluntary organisations working with homeless people. Apply at any time.

London Catalyst

Grants from £3,000 for work to respond to unmet health needs, and the limiting effects of poverty, in London's most needy areas.

Buzzacott Stuart Defries Memorial Fund

Small grants (majority between £500 and £2,000) for work with young people in deprived socio-economic areas in central London.  Apply at any time.

City Bridge Trust

Grants of various sizes to support work in the following areas: accessibility, community cohesion, mental health, environment, and older people.  Apply year-round.

Westminster Amalgamated Charity

Grants of £500 to £10,000 for registered charities working with needy Westminster residents.
