The Trust aims to strengthen family ties. It supports charities whose activities involve all or most family members in initiatives that support and encourage the family to work as a cohesive unit in tackling problems that face one or more of its members.

Applications are also welcomed from sports and health-related charities whose activities comply with the above criteria.

The Trust will consider capital and revenue grants and is happy to support requests for core funding as well as project-based grants. It actively encourages applications from relatively new organisations to help them become established. Grants are generally between £1000 and £5000.
