MacRobert Trust

Grants of £5-£25,000 for registered charities working in a range of areas, including with children and young people.  Apply by 31 May 2012.

The MacRobert Trust makes grants of between £5,000 and £25,000 for charitable work in a range of fields.

Charities in any part of the UK can apply – but the Trust particularly welcomes applications from Scottish charities.

What can you apply for?

There are six charitable themes that the Trust supports:

  • Services and Sea
  • Education and Training
  • Children and Youth
  • Science, Engineering and Technology
  • Agriculture and Horticulture
  • Tarland and the Local Area

Of these, the most relevant for Westminster-based voluntary organisations is likely to be the one relating to children and youth.

Visit the MacRobert Trust website to read more about the charitable themes

Timescales and closing dates

There are two closing dates each year: 31 October and 31 May.  The trustees meet twice a year to consider applications – in March and November.
