Santander Foundation
Grants of up to £10,000 for education and training, and work to improve financial capability. Capital and revenue grants available. Apply at any time.
The Santander Foundation makes grants of up to £10,000 (average amount is £4,000) for work with disadvantaged people.
There are two funding priorities
Education and training
This could be any activity disadvantaged people undertake where they improve their confidence in a skill or their understanding of a subject. This does not have to be formal training or lead to a qualification, although those activities would be eligible too.
Financial capability
This priority covers activities which help disadvantaged people understand how to manage their money. It could include budgeting skills, accessing affordable credit as well as managing the challenges that arise from being a carer, unemployment, disability or relationship break up.
Who can apply?
To be eligible to apply, your organisation must have charitable status.

To apply, you need to write a letter on headed notepaper, describing your organisation, and the work you want to do.
