The Volant Charitable Trust

Grants for work to reduce social deprivation, with an emphasis on women’s and children’s issues.

The Volant Charitable Trust was set up by JK Rowling.

It makes grants for charities and projects, whether national or community-based, that alleviate social deprivation, with a particular emphasis on women’s and children’s issues.

The Trustees meet twice a year, in March and September, to consider applications and allocate funds. If your application is successful, you will be notified immediately after the meeting has taken place.

Because of the high number of applications, the Trust is unable to deal with general enquiries.
