Funding to support mental health, young people and women refugees

The Comic Relief mental health support programme aims to promote the rights and support the recovery of people who have mental health problems and to help them feel more included in society. It also aims to reduce the stigma and discrimination faced by people with mental health problems.

Seed funding for projects encouraging sustainable living

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) is providing seed funding in 2010/11 for third sector organisations to put in place projects designed to encourage and enable individuals and communities to adopt more sustainable behaviours to 2012 and beyond – using the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games as a way of reaching hard to engage groups.
