Join the Afiya Trust at this free one-day event, to hear party spokespersons will explain how they will tackle racial inequality and promote the well-being of BME communities.

16 March 2010: this free all day event will take place at The Resource Centre, 356 Holloway Road, London N7 6PA

The day will include workshops on:

  • Mapping: identifying issues affecting BME health and social care organisations
  •  World class commissioning: how do we mainstream race equality into commissioning processes?
  •  Social marketing: how do we ensure campaigns address BME issues?
  •  Holding the NHS to account: how do we encourage active BME participation and involvement in the NHS?
  •  The Afiya Trust: building a healthy communities Hub
