The theme for the 2012 Carers Week Conference is In Sickness and in Health.

Caring can take a huge toll on one's health and carers often struggle trying to find time to take care of themselves. Feeling overlooked or even guilty for having time to themselves is not uncommon and as a consequence health issues can develop. Carers Network Westminster advocates the right to access to health advice, support for carers and time to access them.

Through talks and workshops carers and professionals will explore the importance of maintaining sound health and wellbeing, developing coping strategies and exceeding personal best to achieve the “impossible”.

The event include free lunch and live entertainment.  Places are limited and you need to book in advance.
