Westminster Befriend a Family is currently seeking a new Chairperson for its Board of Trustees to drive the organisation forward in a period of change and expansion. With the other Trustees, you will be responsible for setting strategy, and to guide and support the Director of Services in the work of the organisation. Candidates with prior experience as Chairman/Trustee Board Member are particularly welcome to apply.

Westminster Befriend a Family is a progressive, London-based charity offering invaluable services to its diverse service base. The charity is celebrating its 20th anniversary, has an outstanding operational team, committed volunteers and exciting growth plans for the future. Westminster Befriend a Family aims to break cycles of disadvantage and social exclusion. For 20 years it has been working to provide practical and emotional support to prevent family breakdown. Many of the families the organisation works with are homeless, refugees or asylum seekers. They come from a wide range of ethnic groups and English is often a second language. Families may be struggling to establish a home and cope with the huge cultural and physical change in their lives.
