A new programme provides essential household items to families with young babies in Westminster who are living in severe poverty.

The Eat, Sleep, Learn, Play Programme from Save the Children aims to support families in Westminster with a baby under 12 months, who are experiencing severe material need within the home.

How will the programme help?

By providing essential household items, such as a child’s bed, a cooker or educational books and toys to enable children to eat, sleep, learn and play. Families will also be offered an entitlement check to ensure they are receiving all welfare benefits to which they are entitled.

Do you know families that could benefit from this support?

If you are working with families in Westminster who would benefit from this support, and would like to be able to apply for Eat, Sleep, Learn, Play grants on their behalf, please contact Chloe Grant at Save the Children on 020 3215 3222 or 07983 212 413 or email c.grant@savethechildren.org.uk
