Keep children safe: recruit safely

interview.gif

Free e-learning for organisations that recruit staff or volunteers who work with children.

Who’s the safer recruitment training for?

All those organisations and individuals who work with children and young people, or are involved in providing services for them, have a duty to safeguard and promote their welfare. If you recruit people into the children and young people’s workforce then you should take the safer recruitment e-learning.

What’s involved?

It’s an online training package with sections covering:

  • What abuse is
  • Recruitment processes that should be followed
  • Vetting and Barring Scheme
  • Role of the Criminal Records Bureau and the Independent Safeguard Authority
  •  How to manage allegations.
