Training grants for volunteer managers

Do you manage volunteers? You could get a grant of £1,950 to pay for training to help in your role.

If you manage volunteers, you could apply for a bursary (grant) from the Capacitybuilders Volunteer Management Programme to help you in your role. Up to £1,950 is available to pay for a package of training. The closing date for applications is 24 May 2010.

About the training you can get

  • There are three levels of training available. You need to choose which is best for you
  • The training is part time, and takes place over several months
  • You can also get accreditation for the training you do
  • There are training places across the country, so you should be able to find a place near to you. Distance and online learning options are also available.
